A resting and refreshment place for walkers and ramblers on the Heart of England Way or the Staffordshire Way and those who are just out for an afternoon stroll or walking the dog.

Horse riders can either call in or if travelling far book the paddock and trailer parking area. Leave your horse or horses in the Springslade Lodge paddock why you enjoy refreshments before or after riding or both.

Mountain Biking on Cannock Chase why not explore the many natural trails around Springslade Lodge and enjoy food and drink to boost your energy before peddling off to the single track ‘Follow the dog’.

Site seeing on your visit to Staffordshire, Cannock, Stafford or Lichfield then a visit to Spring Slade Lodge close to the Commonwealth Graves, Katyn Memorial and German Cemeteries and a short drive from Shugborough Hall will be rewarded with good food in beautiful surroundings.

There are many types of bird, different breeds of deer, foxes, badgers, adders and stream life in the clear waters of Sherbrook Valley there are also many wild flowers and wonderful heath land. The Wildlife trust at Wolsely Bridge is a short drive away from Sprigslade Lodge.
